About the event

Nancy will talk about creating a balanced habitat by encouraging beneficial insects, welcoming birds (that eat insects), and blending flowers, herbs and vegetables together. Common pest problems and sustainable solutions will be discussed. Following her presentation, refreshments and a chance to connect with other gardeners will be offered.

Nancy DuBrule-Clemente is FOUNDER of Natureworks.  The retail store on RT 22 in Northford is a destination for gardeners with a focus on supporting pollinators, creating healthy habitats, and encouraging native plants. Nancy is a graduate of UConn’s Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture.

This even is made possible by a grant from The Rockfall Foundation
