Exciting news! The Middletown Garden Club has been the lucky recipient of a surprise donation of over 2,000 pollinator friendly plants. The plan is to install a Piet Oudolf style Pollinator Garden at Harbor Park. Your help is needed! To plant if you can and to move plants if you can, to get donuts and coffee if you can or to point a finger if you can. We may also have a scout troop helping as well.
We need to supplement the nursery donated plants with the following: baptisia (blue), coneflower (pink), nepeta, perisica, and amsonia . So if you are in your garden dividing any of the above plants please bring them our way. Bring gloves and tools as well. The planting date must be SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2022 as City Events are being held at the park the weekend of 10/8/22. We will be there from 8am on.
This will be a wonderful community-building opportunity!
